Our Portable air conditioners are great for keeping your growing area cool. The 12,000 btu model effectively cools rooms with up to 2 1,000w lights. The 7,500 btu model will effectively cool up to 1 1,000w light. The 12,000 btu uses 950 (9 amps) watts and the 7,500 uses 620 watts (6 amps.) These air conditioners have manual, not digital control. This is specifically recommended in grow areas. If there is a power failure, unit will automatically turn itself back on when power resumes. Self-Evaporating Technology - during the cooling process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the cooling coils and make it run more efficiently, cooling as well as energy useage. Note: Exhaust hose installation required (all standard accessories included).
